By accessing or using TriCoach ("the Service"), operated by TriCoach ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Service Description

TriCoach is a triathlon training application that provides:

  • AI-powered personalized training plans
  • Integration with Garmin Connect for activity tracking
  • AI coaching and workout feedback
  • Team features for group training
  • Race planning and nutrition guidance

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our Service.

4. Garmin Integration

Our Service integrates with Garmin Connect to access your fitness data. By connecting your Garmin account:

  • You authorize us to access your Garmin data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You acknowledge that your use of Garmin Connect is subject to Garmin's own terms of service
  • You understand that any data submitted to TriCoach is submitted to us, not to Garmin
  • You can disconnect your Garmin account at any time through your account settings

Data Attribution: All data sourced from Garmin devices is attributed as required by Garmin's guidelines.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TriCoach and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your data to provide and improve our services.

7. Health and Medical Disclaimer

TriCoach is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice.

The training plans, coaching advice, and nutrition guidance provided by our Service are for informational purposes only and are not intended to:

  • Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
  • Replace professional medical advice
  • Substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider

Before starting any exercise program, you should consult with your physician or healthcare provider. You use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for any injuries or health issues that may result.

If you experience any pain, discomfort, or adverse symptoms during training, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

8. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate training plans and coaching advice. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation
  • AI recommendations should be used as guidance, not absolute instructions
  • You should use your own judgment and consult professionals when in doubt

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRICOACH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
